Privacy Policy

This policy explains which personal data Sage-M Group SRL processes through the Tax.md website, for what purpose, how long we keep it and what rights you have, in accordance with Law No. 195/2024 on personal data protection.

1. Who the data controller is

2. What data we process, why and on what legal basis

We do not process special categories of data (for example, health data) through the website. Please do not include them in your messages.

3. Who we share data with

• Sage-M Group SRL employees who handle requests, with access limited to what they need;
• our website hosting provider and e-mail service provider, as processors (Art. 28), under a contract that obliges them to protect the data;
• public authorities, only when the law requires it.

We do not sell or rent your data and do not use it for advertising.

4. Transfers outside the Republic of Moldova

If a provider processes data outside the Republic of Moldova, the transfer only takes place to countries ensuring an adequate level of protection or on the basis of appropriate safeguards provided by Law No. 195/2024.

5. How long we keep data

• Requests from the forms and the calculator: 24 months from receipt, after which they are deleted automatically.
• If we sign a service contract, the data becomes part of the client file and is kept for the duration of the contract and afterwards for the periods required by accounting and tax legislation.
• Cookies: for the periods listed in the Cookie Policy.

6. Your rights

Regarding your data, you have:

• the right of access – to find out whether and what data we process about you and to receive a copy (Art. 15);
• the right to rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16);
• the right to erasure (Art. 17);
• the right to restriction of processing (Art. 18);
• the right to data portability (Art. 20);
• the right to object, including to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21);
• the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing (Art. 22);
• the right to withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, without affecting earlier processing (Art. 7(3)).

We reply without undue delay and within one month of receiving the request at the latest; for complex requests this period may be extended by two further months, and we will let you know (Art. 12). We may ask for additional information to confirm your identity.

7. The right to lodge a complaint

If you believe the processing of your data breaches the law, you can lodge a complaint with the National Center for Personal Data Protection (Art. 72) or go to court (Art. 74). Please contact us first – we will try to resolve the matter quickly. datepersonale.md

8. How we protect data

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures (Art. 32): an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to the admin panel only for authorised persons, passwords stored in encrypted form, spam protection and automatic deletion of data that is no longer needed.

9. Other information

• Providing data is voluntary. Without a phone number we cannot answer your request; optional fields can be left empty.
• The calculator only shows an indicative price estimate. We do not take decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects for you.
• The website is aimed at entrepreneurs and companies. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 14 (Art. 8); if you learn that a child has sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.
• We may update this policy when the website or the law changes. The version in force is published on this page together with the date of the last update.
